news.Movianto UK, the logistics company specialising in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, has signed a contract from BMI Healthcare to provide transport services to all BMI Hospitals within the UK.

Movianto is part of the Celesio, a healthcare distribution group. The group is active in 26 countries and employs more than 46,000 people in its three divisions patient and consumer solutions, pharmacy solutions and manufacturer solutions.
BMI said that has decided to outsource transport services to Movianto UK as it is specialised in the logistics of healthcare and pharmaceutical products. Its expertise in the healthcare area played a significant role in the decision to appoint Movianto UK.
Udi Silva, category manager of BMI Healthcare, said: “Contracting the transport service of Movianto UK to consolidate all deliveries into every hospital enables BMI Healthcare to concentrate more resources into capital investment in our hospitals. At the same time we are enhancing the supply chain with the provider of transport services to the healthcare sector.”
