Humco Increases Production Of Cherry Syrup

Humco Holding Group (Humco) has reported that it is increasing inventories and production capabilities of Humco Cherry Syrup for use in the emergency compounding of an oral suspension of Tamiflu capsules.

This action is in response to widespread domestic and international requests generated by anticipated increased demand for Tamiflu.

Humco Cherry Syrup masks unpleasant taste for pediatric and adult patients who have difficulty swallowing Tamiflu capsules, or who require lower doses.

The company said that Humco has Cherry Syrup stock ready to ship immediately to pharmacies, hospitals and community health resources taking precautionary measures, and is prepared to produce extra inventory to keep supply channels full if necessary.
