news.Vaisala, a Finnish company operating in the environmental and industrial measurement domain, has introduced a new humidity and temperature probe Humicap HMP110 to track the processing, packaging and storing of products in pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.

Vaisala claimed that Humicap HMP110 encompasses the complete humidity range at temperatures from -40ºC to 80ºC and is designed to be small in size, compact and easy to install, maintain and make any changes.
Humicap HMP110 features a cable detachable with standard M8 connector, 80R sensor for stability and chemical tolerance; IP65 metal housing; Optional RS485 digital output; ±1.7%RH measurement accuracy (0 … 90%RH); HMP110R replacement probe service available for maintenance; and optional dew point calculation.
Each probe is calibrated individually and bears a certificate traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
Vaisala also emphasized the replacement service it has implemented. The new calibrated probe from Vaisala once ordered, is shipped from any of the service centers in Finland, US, Japan or China in exchange for the old device.
