SRU Biosystems’s plate-based Bind Biosensor line now includes microplates with the following surfaces: unmodified titanium oxide, surfaces for biochemical applications, streptavidin, and a new line of two extracellular matrix coatings for cell-based assays.
Biosensors are available in 16-, 96-, 384-, 384 low volume- and 1536-well formats, addressing the breadth of throughput requirements. The expansion brings with it optimized performance for biochemical and cell-based applications as well as throughput flexibility, the company said.
Rick Wagner, CEO of SRU Biosystems, said: “SRU has found that the profile of label-free users has diversified to include researchers across academia and industry with an ever-growing list of applications. SRU has focused on building our entire platform, including Bind Readers and Biosensors, to provide superior label-free Bind tools to the widest audience possible.”
