news.NextPharma Technologies, a European provider of product development, contract manufacturing, cold chain and logistics outsourcing services to the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, has said that the French Ministry of Research has approved it as a contract research organization (CRO) to perform R&D activities for French companies at its sterile product development center.

The authorization allows companies subject to corporate tax in France to claim tax credits for work subcontracted to NextPharma. The company obtained this approval after presenting a recent development project related to the development of a sterile, controlled-release formulation.
NextPharma said that its expanded sterile businesses now includes sterile product development and manufacturing capabilities in both San Diego, California and Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium where it supports non-clinical through clinical development of sterile products including biologics and cytotoxics.
