MHRA Re-Certifies Unichem Laboratories’ Ghaziabad Facility In India

Unichem Laboratories has announced that its Ghaziabad Formulation facility in India has been re-certified by Medicines & Healthcare Products Regulatory Agencies (MHRA), the UK. The facility is re-certified for both Medicines for Human as well as Veterinary use.

Situated about 20 kms from the national capital, New Delhi, Unichem’s Ghaziabad facility enjoys the privileges of efficient infrastructure, that is highly conducive for industrial development. Ghaziabad has four industrial sites, a population of over one million and is well connected by rail and road.

The Ghaziabad plant was founded in 1969 as a multi-product pharmaceutical plant. Over the years, Unichem claims to have put in effort to constantly improve quality standards and consistency.

In 2003, the manufacturing facility was completely upgraded to meet the international standards for the manufacture of pharmaceutical formulations.
