The Ahmedabad facility was established with the help of Carbogen Amcis and its technical team. Carbogen Amcis is a subsidiary of Dishman Pharma, located in Switzerland.
The new plant marks a significant step for the company as it is expected to open a huge opportunities for manufacture of high potency oncology API for companies around the world.
Earlier, the company had announced its expansion plans wherein it will open four new API plants. The company will invest around INR1.25b on the expansion.
India-based Dishman operates as an outsourcing partner for the global pharmaceutical industry offering a portfolio of development, scale-up and manufacturing services.
