news.MedQuist, a provider of medical transcription services, has appointed Alan Gold as its new senior vice president of sales and marketing.

In this new role, Mr Gold will be responsible for client relationships, new business development, and the positioning and promotion of MedQuist.
Most recently, Mr Gold was the vice president of sales and managed services for Siemens Medical Solutions. During his tenure at Siemens, Mr Gold was instrumental in growing the business, increasing the volume of customers and improving customer satisfaction.
