news.Australia-based biotechnology company Novogen has appointed William Rueckert to its board of directors.

Mr Rueckert is the managing member of Oyster Management Group, and is a director of Glycotex, an 83% owned unlisted subsidiary of Novogen. He was formerly a director of Emergency Filtration Products, a public manufacturer and marketer of respiratory filtration devices, and president and director of Eastern Capital Development since 1999.
The company also announced that Peter Simpson will retire as a director prior to June 30, 2009.
