news.Meridian, a developer and marketer of integrative medical equipment, has signed an exclusive contract with Sweden-based Aesthetic Derma Pro for the marketing and sales of Meridian's Lapex 2000 BCS in Scandinavian countries.

Under the terms of the contract, Aesthetic has obtained a one-year exclusive license to market the Lapex 2000 BCS series in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Meridian signed a similar contract for two years with Estetik Media International for sales of the product in Romania in September 2008.
Meridian said that it looks forward to finalizing distribution contracts with southern European countries before the third quarter of 2009.
Hyeon Seung Myeong, president and CEO of Meridian, said: “Despite the global economic recession, Lapex 2000 BCS still attracts great interest from European countries. It has been just over two years since the Lapex 2000 BCS was first introduced to the European markets, and we have secured several solid distribution partners in most of northern and middle Europe.”
