Nihon Kohden America wins three-year agreement from Premier

Nihon Kohden America has signed a new agreement with Premier Purchasing Partners, the group purchasing unit of Premier, for physiological monitoring equipment and accessories.

The three-year agreement is available to members of the Premier healthcare alliance.

Nihon Kohden said that its patient monitoring solutions utilize miniaturization technology and high speed processing to provide clinicians with a feature rich value oriented product offering.

Mike Dashefsky, vice president of patient monitoring at Nihon Kohden, said: “Improving quality of care by integrating technologies that fit into tightening budgets is a challenging pressure that hospitals face today.

“Our patient monitoring solutions blend the technologies and clinical features that are needed across the continuum of care, addressing the needs in both acute and general wards. We offer a total value equation that results in improving quality of care while saving significant costs for the hospital. We are looking forward to expanding our partnership with Premier healthcare alliance.”
