This four-section inner glass door is particularly useful when several users in the laboratory have to access the same incubator, because they can now each have a specific area where their samples are located. This clear segregation of areas also helps prevent accidental mix-up of samples. The effects from opening the door are minimised, which shortens recovery times. Gas usage is also reduced, since the smaller openings keep the atmosphere within the incubator more stable and allow less gas to escape. Because of the homogenous gas distribution, cell specimens experience less stress and the specified parameters can be maintained precisely, while still providing maximum usable space within the chamber – an organised and safe design to ensure optimum cell growth conditions.
All BINDER CB series incubators now have this optional feature of divided inner glass doors and racks.
