The reel distribution diagram that is provided with every delivery of rolls of labels and package inserts has now been revised and adapted to the internal electronic documentation. There is a number and a barcode on the roll, the roll core and on the packaging. This number is used to determine precisely which rolls were printed before and after the current roll. More over, it also indicates the master roll from which the individual rolls were developed and from which the samples originated.

This marking is used for quality control in production as well as for error analysis with regard to complaints. The products affected by the error as well as the scope of the error can be easily determined at any time. This saves not only time but money as well.
