To meet the high demand for Tablettose® more quickly, Meggle has invested in the future and created a new production facility for the sought-after lactose brand. The result is a masterpiece of German engineering: every hour, up to 1,500 kg of lactose can be agglomerated and an enormous dryer vaporizes approximately 220 kg of water. Whether it be dosing and agglomeration, sieving, or inspection and cleaning processes, each production step is controlled and monitored by a central process control system.

The result: high-tech quality made in Germany that is the first choice for many health care companies when it comes to the direct compression of pharmaceutical, effervescent, and sweetener tablets. The reliable, easy-to-administer excipient is available in three grades: Tablettose® 70, Tablettose® 80, and Tablettose® 100.
