Dr Holland is a chartered Chemist with a degree and PhD in chemistry. Simon has over 30 years industrial experience of developing and commercialising projects from R&D to launch working with SmithKline Beecham and GSK. With expertise in quality, development, nanomedicine and change-control, Dr Holland adds substantial skills in the areas of oral, topical and inhaled drug delivery to the skills base within the company that already covers parenteral, controlled and targeted delivery systems amongst others.

Dr Holland is an internationally acclaimed speaker in the fields of nanotechnology and nanomedicine, with numerous papers, patents and BBC interviews published. He is also the current chairman of the International Organisation for Standards (ISO) TC 229 Committee on Nanotechnology.
