The addition of these production facilities will help Foremost Farms and Sheffield Bio-Science provide their pharmaceutical customers with assured, uninterrupted supply of both Anhydrous and Spray Dried Lactose Excipient products to meet their needs for years to come.

Rothschild, Wisconsin
In addition to the current production facility in Norwich, New York, the two companies are co-investing in a second Anhydrous manufacturing facility at the Rothschild, WI. This additional capability is expected to be completed in December 2010.

Plover, Wisconsin
In addition to the current production facility in Rothschild, the two companies are in the process of validating a second manufacturing location in Plover, Wisconsin; which will be capable of manufacturing the market leading Fast Flo® Spray Dried Lactose excipients, including Foremost®, Fast Flo® 316, 315, as well as co-processing capabilities to create highly functional, unique excipients.

The two companies bring together over 120 years of combined experience in Anhydrous, Spray Dried, Inhalation, and many other grades of Crystalline Monohydrate lactose, as well as unmatched innovation in lactose co-processed excipients. Together, they provide the pharmaceutical and nutritional supplement Industry with the only complete line of rennet-free, Kosher certified lactose manufactured in CFR 210-211 registered and/or FDA inspected facilities.

Now with these manufacturing locations, the companies will provide three completely validated plants in the USA. All of these plants will be capable of manufacturing under IPEC Guidelines for cGMP compliance, and produce lactose that conforms to all three global compendia (NF, PhEur, JP). All of which assures their customers of a continuous supply of high quality pharmaceutical excipients, from the most trusted manufacturers of lactose in the world.
