news.Mediware Information Systems, a provider of ClosedLoop clinical systems for blood and medication management, has announced that through the company's UK-based JAC Computer Systems, the company has signed a distribution agreement with MDG Medical to be the exclusive supplier of MDG's computerized medication cabinets in the UK and Ireland.

Under the agreement, JAC will offer a variety of products including specialized cabinets for controlled drugs, night use on wards, and in environments where access to medicines needs to be constantly monitored at the point of issue.
Kelly Mann, president and CEO of Mediware, said: “The distribution agreement with MDG provides us a natural extension and the ability to expand our presence within our extensive international customer base.
“We are the clear market leader in the UK for pharmacy stock control systems and we believe this product extension will continue to define JAC as the premier medication management systems provider in these markets.”
