news.Assay Designs, a provider of immunoassay kits, antibodies, and reagents to the life science and translational research markets, has introduced a new line of MultiBead multiplex immunoassays to simultaneously quantify the levels of up to 22 analytes in a single sample and in various matrices including serum, plasma, urine, culture supernates, and cell lysates.

According to the company, MultiBead assays do not require specialized instrumentation and work on commercially available dual-laser flow cytometers, making access to instrumentation convenient and economical. Proprietary data analysis software for both PC and Mac platforms is also available with the products.
Dan Calvo, president and CEO of Assay Designs, said: “We are pleased to launch this new line of products into the immunoassay market space. We will expand this multiplex offering to include unique content in areas such as inflammation, heat shock, cellular stress, hormones, and cell signaling.
“We have utilized some proprietary chemistry that delivers high sensitivity and broad dynamic range. We have also developed analysis software that works with data generated from commercially available flow cytometers and simplifies the process of data analysis for our customers.”
