Plexigen names new president and CEO

Ben Liu, founder and chief scientific officer of Plexigen, said: “We are very excited to have Bill Haas join Plexigen at this critical premarket point. Bill spent 18 years at Laboratory Corporation of America, in many dynamic roles, most recently as their executive vice president, esoteric business. This broad expertise will contribute significantly to Plexigen’s future success.”

Mr Haas said: “The immediate focus of the company is to attain FDA 510(k) clearance for the PlexStation 2080 and the initial assays, while readying the Plexigen organization for the commercialization phase of our high-potential IVD technology into the US clinical laboratory market.
