news.Quinnova Pharmaceuticals, a specialty pharmaceutical company, has appointed Christopher Hensby as its new senior vice president of R&D. Dr Hensby will assume his new post in October 2008.

Most recently, Dr Hensby served as the vice president of R&D and regulatory affairs for Ivrea Pharmaceuticals. Dr Hensby is a graduate BSc in pharmacology from Kings College, London and researched his PhD at Edinburgh University.
