news.US-based pharmaceutical services company AmerisourceBergen has appointed Richard Gochnauer to its board of directors, effective immediately. The election increases the number of AmerisourceBergen directors from eight to nine.

Mr Gochnauer has been president and CEO and a director of United Stationers since 2002. Mr Gochnauer has received his MBA from Harvard University and his bachelor of science degree from Northwestern University.
