Nephros names new president and CEO

Most recently, Mr Elgin has served as vice president of business development and COO for Novaflux Technologies. Mr Elgin has earned his bachelor of arts degree from Queens College and his MBA from Long Island University.

Norman Barta has stepped down as Nephros’s chairman and CEO, as well as his various other offices with Nephros, to address a family medical issue and pursue other interests.

James Scibetta, chairman of Nephros, said: “Ernie has a proven track record of corporate management and product development, and we will look to his leadership to help drive the company’s business strategy and growth.
