Akzo Nobel Salt’s Sanal® products exceed the stringent requirements of monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph Eur), the US Pharmacopoeia (USP), the Japanese Pharmacopoeia (JP), the Korea Pharmacopoeia (KP) and the Pharmacopoeia of Russia (Ph Rus).

The company achieves this by using a dedicated production line. Manufacturing in all processing steps is subject to strict quality controls pursuant to the good manufacturing practice (GMP) International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Q7A guidelines for the manufacture of pharmaceutical agents.

Sanal® products are free from bacterial endotoxins (non-pyrogenic).
