Improved component resolution with Multi- Angle DLS (MADLS)

There are three advantages that can be derived from the introduction of multiangle dynamic light scattering (MADLS) in the new Zetasizer Ultra system: Improved component sensitivity within mixtures, improved resolution of near-in-size components (from 3:1 to 2:1) and conversion of the transformed number weighted size distribution into particle concentration.

Given the significance of these improvements compared to historical single angle dynamic light scattering (DLS) limitations, an explanation of the justifications for each is warranted.
