WeylChem Group of Companies (WCGC) was established in 2005 as the Fine Chemicals platform of International Chemical Investors Group (ICIG), a privately owned industrial holding company. We are a specialised service provider to the agrochemical, pharmaceutical, polymer and specialty chemicals industries, offering custom-, toll-manufacturing as well as advanced intermediates, reagents and performance products.

With a total headcount of more than 2200 employees, and ten companies located in France, Germany, Italy and USA, WCGC is well positioned to offer its services and to deliver its products in close proximity to its customers. WCGC operates with two business units:
Fine Chemicals devoted to custom manufacturing, advanced intermediates and reagents.
Consumer Care supplying the personal care, home care and industrial applications markets.

Our spectrum of key technologies is unique in the market. They are available at many different scales, from lab samples to pilot quantities up to full industrial volume. Miteni specializes in Fluorine Chemistry; PPC in Bromine Chemistry; HydroChem Italia and PPC in Chlorine; WeylChem US in Grignard Chemistry; WeylChem Lamotte in C2 Chemistry; WeylChem Höchst in Oxidation, WeylChem Griesheim in Diazo Chemistry, and Allessa in Hydrogenation.

The n+x advantageTM plays a major role in our custom- and toll-manufacturing activities where multi step synthetic processes require a well-crafted assembly of equipment and technologies.
OUR FACILITIES
With a total reactor volume of 5000 m3, a reactor size varying from 2 to 25 m3, our plants offer the flexibility and the capacity to accommodate productions on many different tonnages and to accomplish the manufacture of products requiring careful handling and control. Scale-up is conducted in our pilot plants. Five pilot units are available at our sites, again offering flexibility and capacity (reactor size from 100 to 2000 liters). R&D labs are present at all locations.
