Cerebrio and MedLink International sign development and marketing agreement

Guidenz, the medical information business unit of Cerebrio, a part of Omnicom Group, and MedLink International, a full-service healthcare information technology company, have signed an exclusive agreement to develop and market a suite of unique information products and services.

This collaboration will allow the development of highly-targeted commercial information products and continuing medical education (CME) programs for physicians, based on aggregated, HIPAA-compliant patient information derived from individual physicians’ own patient populations.

This informational core will enable the two companies to reach into individual physicians’ panels of patients and identify specific practices or particular interest groups of importance to medical marketers or educators.

Bill Marovitz, President of Cerebrio, said: “The inclusion of de-identified aggregated patient information in the identification of specific practices and the ability to invite physicians to participate in education, research, or marketing programs is unique and represents a market-moving event.”
