news.HealthTronics, a US-based provider of healthcare services and a manufacturer of medical devices for the urology community, has announced the departure of its CFO, Ross Goolsby, effective September 30, 2008, to pursue other business opportunities.

Mr Goolsby agreed to provide consulting services to the company until January 2009. Richard Rusk, currently vice president, treasurer and controller of the company, will assume the role of interim CFO.
James Whittenburg, president and CEO of HealthTronics, said: “Mr Goolsby joined the company in 2007 and contributed to our accomplishments during 2007 and 2008. We wish Mr Goolsby great success as he pursues other business opportunities. We welcome Mr Rusk into the interim CFO role.”
