news.Aradigm, a specialty pharmaceutical company, has appointed Nancy Pecota as its new CFO, effective September 22, 2008, replacing Norman Halleen, who has been serving as interim CFO since July 2007.

Ms Pecota has previously served as CFO for NuGEN Technologies, a life sciences tools company. Prior to that Ms Pecota served as a financial consultant to early- and mid-stage life sciences companies, developing fundable business models and assessing and improving internal financial preparation and reporting processes.
Ms Pecota holds a bachelor of science in economics from San Jose State University.
