US Oncology names new executive vice president and CFO

US Oncology, a national cancer care services company, has appointed Michael Sicuro as its new executive vice president and CFO.

In this position Mr Sicuro will lead and manage the finance function and provide leadership on a wide range of financial, analytical, operational, and transactional issues, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and financial planning and analysis.

Most recently, Mr Sicuro was senior vice president and CFO at Asyst Technologies, a global automation and technology company. Mr Sicuro holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Kent State University.

Bruce Broussard, president and CEO of US Oncology, said: “Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to US Oncology and we are very pleased to have him as part of our team. His expertise and experience will continue to create operational efficiencies that will only improve upon our strong performance and ensure our goal to enhance patient access to advanced cancer care through all phases of the delivery system.”
