Medline has particularly acquired the manufacturing and laboratory assets, and assumed the lease, on Perrigo’s plant in Lake Worth, Florida, US.
Medline will manufacture a number of personal hygiene products, such as enemas, douche and oral saline laxatives at the Florida plant.
Medline chief executive officer Charlie Mills said, "Through this acquisition, as well with the recent launch of innovative products like the Curad BioMask, Medline is strengthening our growing position in the retail market and expanding the Curad portfolio to meet the growing needs of retailers and consumers."
Perrigo Company is a global health care supplier that develops, manufactures and distributes OTC and generic prescription pharmaceuticals, infant formulas, nutritional products, active pharmaceutical ingredients and pharmaceutical and medical diagnostic products.
