news.US-based pharmaceutical company Forest Laboratories has appointed Frank Murdolo as its new vice president of investor relations.

Mr Murdolo joins Forest following 11 years with GlaxoSmithKline where he was vice president of investor relations, with overall responsibility for managing the North American investor relations program.
Prior to joining GlaxoSmithKline, Mr Murdolo worked for the Schering-Plough as the director of investor relations for six years.
