news.US-based drug discovery and development company Kinex Pharmaceuticals has appointed David Hsia to the company's board of directors.

Dr Hsia was formerly senior vice president of scientific affairs at Watson Pharmaceuticals before his retirement. Dr Hsia has received a PhD in industrial and physical pharmacy from Purdue University in 1975.
Johnson Lau, executive chairman of the board at Kinex, said: “As the company moves forward, we look forward to leveraging the full breadth of David’s expertise as a board member to assist us in developing our new drug candidates.”
