news.Alcon, an eye care company, has launched its new AcrySof phakic lens in Berlin, Germany. Based on company's AcrySof intraocular lens material, Alcon designed the AcrySof phakic lens to become the surgeon's preferred solution for patients with moderate to high levels of myopia.

As part of the controlled launch for the AcrySof phakic lens, Alcon will provide surgeons with an integrated and comprehensive training, educational, and support program.
