Invitrogen, a provider of essential life science technologies for research, production and diagnostics, has appointed Joe Beery as head of its global information technology.

Most recently, Mr Beery has served as US Airways’s senior vice president and chief information officer, responsible for all IT business and operational systems and applications, process improvements, revenue generation and customer service programs.
Mr Beery holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and business computer systems from the University of New Mexico.
