news.Ricerca Biosciences, a provider of preclinical contract drug discovery and development services for the pharmaceutical industry, has appointed Gary Jacobson as its new executive vice president and CFO.

In addition to his financial responsibilities, Mr Jacobson will be accountable for Ricerca’s legal, human resources, facilities and IT functions.
Prior to joining Ricerca, Mr Jacobson was the principal and director of General Biotechnology. Mr Jacobson also served as executive vice president and CFO of Harlan Sprague Dawley and COO of Harlan Europe.
Mr Jacobson is a graduate of Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, and holds a certificate in political economy from the Adam Smith School of Economics in Glasgow, Scotland. Mr Jacobson received his MBA from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia.
