news.Anodyne Medical Device, a manufacturer of specialty support surfaces and patient positioning devices and services, has appointed Abbey Daniels as its new CEO.

Ms Daniels, who is currently the COO for Anodyne, will fill the CEO role held by company founder, Mark Bidner. Mr Bidner will remain active with the company and retain his role as chairman of its board of directors.
Prior to joining Anodyne, Ms Daniels was CEO of Florida-based SenTech Medical Systems from 1999 to 2006, after serving for three years as the company’s vice president of sales, marketing and business development.
Mr Bidner said: “Abbey has done an extraordinary job since she joined Anodyne at inception almost two and a half years ago. She has played a crucial role in executing the strategic growth plan developed by Anodyne’s board of directors, and they join me in unanimously endorsing her new role.”
