MediSolution and GFI Business Solutions sign partnership agreement

The modular Human Capital Management (HCM) product portfolio will combine the best of breed components from both companies existing platforms and will encompass payroll, human resources, electronic timesheets, employee self-service, time and attendance, and its unique staff scheduling and recall lists features.

Building upon an existing partnership agreement between the two companies, the new agreement will combine GFI Business Solutions’s Magistra HR solution with MediSolution’s Virtuo payroll solution creating a unique application with specific features for the healthcare and service sectors.

The companies will closely collaborate on a joint development plan and leverage a combined pool of dedicated developers to significantly accelerate time to market and the delivery of a fully integrated feature-rich solution for healthcare and service sector customers.

Significant investments will be made by both companies to ensure healthcare and service sector organizations are provided with flexible solutions that are fully compliant with the evolving service oriented architecture development and latest legislative standards issued by Canada Health Infoway and the Ministere de la Sante et des Services Sociaux du Quebec.

The companies will share best practices and leverage the respective operations expertise within both companies to further improve implementation delivery, with a particular emphasis on process re-engineering and change management.
