news.Forbes Medi-Tech has launched a processed cheese slice containing the company's proprietary cholesterol-lowering ingredient, Reducol.

Available through the Pirkka Reducol product range – jointly developed by Kesko Food and Scanvit – the processed cheese slices will initially be available in Finland, said Forbes Medi-Tech.
Rupp, an Austrian-based cheese company, will produce the cheese slices containing Reducol.
Laura Wessman, senior vice president of operations at Forbes Medi-Tech, said: “This processed cheese product containing our cholesterol-lowering ingredient, Reducol, will give consumers even more dietary choices to lower their cholesterol.”
