news.Generex Biotechnology has signed a product licensing and distribution agreement with ABP-Comercio, Importacao E Exportacao for the registration, importation, marketing, distribution and sale in Brazil of Glucose RapidSpray, the company's proprietary glucose buccal spray product.

Generex said that Glucose RapidSpray is an alternative for people who want additional glucose in their diet. It is reported that Glucose RapidSpray delivers a fat-free, low-calorie glucose formulation developed using the company’s proprietary buccal drug delivery technologies. Glucose RapidSpray delivers glucose directly into the buccal cavity and is simple to carry and use, the company said.
Rose Perri, COO of Generex, said: “This is the first introduction of our over-the-counter product line in South America. Brazil offers the largest South American market for products for the treatment of diabetes and its complications and we look forward to an expanded presence in the region.”
