news.PharMerica, an institutional pharmacy services company, has appointed John Kernaghan as its new senior vice president and chief information officer.

Mr Kernaghan joined PharMerica in April 2008 as vice president of information services. Prior to joining PharMerica, Mr Kernaghan served seven years as senior vice president and CIO of PharmaCare, a subsidiary of CVS Corporation.
