Phillips purchases Medisize

The deal allows Phillips to broaden its medical business manufacturing capabilities.

Medisize provides services to drug delivery devices, primary pharmaceutical packaging, medical and diagnostic devices and airway management.

Phillips provides services from concept design, rapid prototyping, and tooling through production, assembly, packaging and distribution of both components and finished devices.

Phillips technology capabilities includes in multi-shot silicon molding, metal, magnesium, and ceramic injection molding for the medical, automotive and defense.

Phillips president and CEO Matt Jennings said Medisize has a management team and European footprint, with demonstrated capabilities in manufacturing and automation that will strengthen its service offering.
