Lonza said the new development and manufacturing services are available for both mammalian and microbial applications.
Lonza is offering Light Path to customers from all five of its biological development sites: Slough, UK; Cambridge, UK; Visp, Switzerland; Hopkinton, Massachusetts (USA); and Tuas, Singapore.
Lonza Development Services head Janet White said Light Path is a collection of basic supply services that give customers a way to obtain biological material.
"We’ve designed Light Path for customers whose short-term early stage goals are of paramount importance and who still want access to Lonza’s renowned experience, experts, facilities and technologies," White said.
Lonza provides services in large and small molecules, peptides, amino acids and niche bioproducts which play a role in the development of medicines and healthcare products.
The company is a provider of chemical and biotech ingredients to the nutrition, hygiene, preservation, agro and personal care markets.
