The expanded facility features a 90-bed sleeping area, exam and procedure rooms, pharmacy, in-patient and outpatient fully equipped laboratories and attractive and comfortable subject spaces with recreational areas, media, reading and dining rooms.
High Point Clinical Trials Center has conducted Phase I and IIa trials for TransTech and its affiliate High Point Pharmaceuticals in several therapeutic areas, including diabetes, obesity, depression and Alzheimer’s disease.
It is also available to conduct trials for outside sponsors including pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, universities and other research institutions in both healthy volunteers and patient populations.
The clinic previously operated as a 24 bed unit under the name Mendenhall Clinical Research Center.
