CareVeillance examines clinical data in real-time during the patient’s stay and alerts clinicians when the patient shows early signs of high risk conditions, such as sepsis or pneumonia.
The technology allows caregivers the earliest possible opportunity to assess and treat at-risk patients, and to ensure that best-practice measures are delivered during critical time frames.
The solution also acts as a predictive tool to identify patients at risk for re-admission.
CSC Healthcare president Mark Roman said the certification of CareVeillance validates the solution’s capability in enabling hospitals to meet all the requirements for quality reporting, giving their clients the confidence they need when making the decisions about their organizations’ EHR investments.
