news.Watson Pharma, a subsidiary of Watson Pharmaceuticals, has rolled out an authorized generic version of Amrix (Cyclobenzaprine Hydrochloride extended-release capsules) 15mg and 30mg, under its agreement with Cephalon subsidiary Anesta.

Amrix extended-release capsule is a muscle relaxant and works in parts of the brain and nervous system to help reduce muscle spasms.
Amrix is approved for use along with rest and physical therapy to help control muscle spasm associated with acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions.
Under the pact, Anesta manufactures and supplies all doses strength of the generic drug to Watson.
Watson markets and distributes the product in the US on behalf of Anesta and will receive payments based on sales of the product.
