The company said that these high-temperature polymers can be used in applications such as respiratory devices, fluid collection containers and others that require optimum strength, chemical resistance and repeated exposure to certain sterilization processes.
Michael Rademacher, senior vice president, president of distribution at PolyOne, said: “We are pleased to expand our portfolio to include BASF’s Ultrason product line. Ultrason products are an excellent complement to our existing portfolio of high-performance healthcare solutions that create value for our customers by helping them win in the marketplace.”
Michael Britt, group vice president of engineering plastics at BASF in North America, said: “Expanding our distribution channel to include PolyOne Distribution is consistent with the overall BASF distributor strategy of adding product lines to key distributors so that we can expand the product portfolio offerings.”
