Tosoh Bioscience – Separation & Purification has announced the grand opening of its expanded European Tosoh Bioscience headquarters in Griesheim, Germany. This significant milestone marks a new chapter in the company’s commitment to biomolecule analysis, purification, and polymer analytical technologies.
“We are excited to unveil our expanded office in Griesheim, which will serve as a hub for innovation and collaboration,” said Romain Dabre, director of Global Product Management at Tosoh. “This new facility will allow us to better serve our customers and explore new chromatography techniques and applications.”
The newly expanded office features a state-of-the-art, flexible demonstration and training area designed to host customer applications and events. This innovative space will allow Tosoh Bioscience to collaborate more effectively with its customers.
Patrick Endres, head of EMEA Product Management, commented: “The flexible customer training floor will enable us to better train our customers in cutting-edge chromatography techniques. This space provides an optimal learning environment for our customers.”
Tosoh Bioscience has also expanded the applications lab, with dedicated space for ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) bioanalytics, polymer analysis, multi-column chromatography, and batch process chromatography. In addition, there is a new dedicated wet room to train customers on packing large-scale chromatography columns and an instrument service area. IonBenches mobile lab benches have enabled a flexible expansion design, promoting sustainability through versatile use for application development and customer training.
Jonas Wege, head of Tosoh’s EMEA Application Lab, added: “Having built a flexible application lab allows us to be adaptable to any changes and fresh developments in the biopharma and polymer markets in the future. This flexibility ensures that we can continue to meet the evolving needs of our customers.”
The grand opening was celebrated as part of Tosoh Alumni Day, where employees had the pleasure of reconnecting with former interns, thesis students, and recipients of the Deutschlandstipendium. This event highlighted the ongoing commitment by Tosoh Bioscience to nurturing talent and supporting academic excellence.
Customers and partners are invited to share their application ideas with Tosoh Bioscience or request a demo of the new facility. “Together, we can push the boundaries of what is possible and continue to make significant advancements in the field of biomolecule analysis,” Dabre concluded.
